Just like its now-defunct Horse City branch, Picotin Express has found a serene place in the charming neighbourhood of Opera Estate in the East with comfortable, canopy-covered alfresco seating. While there have been a few new additions to Picotin’s original menu, head chef Steve Kaye has kept well-loved dishes such as the signature beef bourguignon ($30), prawn and cod croquette ($18), pan-fried seabass ($32) and its array of pizzas ($22). New additions to the menu include calamari frits ($18), truffle fries ($9) and the Pico burger ($27), served with portions of bacon, cheddar cheese, coleslaw and potato wedges. Brunch and takeaway meals are also available on weekends.
