If you're looking for an easy, boozy way to spend a Saturday afternoon, then make your way to The Drinks Salon happening on August 23 at Pizza Express in Scotts Square. For just $12, this pop-up tasting event offers alcohol enthusiasts the opportunity to explore a wide world of alcohol – without the usual bar tab shock.
Your ticket gets you entry to the event, along with a free dram from any booth and a tasting glass to use throughout the session and take home after. Once inside, you’ll be free to sample and browse offerings from nine curated alcohol vendors showcasing some of the finest whisky, gin, rum, wine, beer and more. Some familiar names include Animal Spirits, La Maison du Whisky, Mizunara Singapore, and The Single Cask.
Of course, drinking on an empty stomach is never a good idea, and so the folks at PizzaExpress have got that covered with classic Italian fare.
Doors open at 1pm, and while walk-ins may be allowed if the space permits, it’s best to secure your spot early.
