The thunder tree rice served here changes with the season. The stall uses harvest grown from the co-owner Cai Xiaoxi’s family-run organic farm to create the dish. Depending on when you visit, overstocked greens or seasonal blooms like sweet potato leaves will replace usual suspects like mani cai (sayur manis) and long beans. The vegan-powered menu uses organic ingredients when possible, and strives to provide meals that people can enjoy “with peace of mind”. Check out the blackboard on the side of the cash register for off-the-menu daily specials.
