Wanton SG puts a contemporary twist on traditional hawker fare. Choose from char siew mee ($7), siu yok mee ($7) – both of which come with double-roasted pork belly – and the xiang gu mee ($7), served with braised shiitake. Complete your meal with sides such as baby kailan served with scallops, braised shiitake and fried garlic ($10), a cucumber and pea shoot salad ($8), and, of course, dumplings ($8) or wontons ($6). The best part? Free flow of broth, pork lard and Seng’s infamous chilli.
