The date

Our daters had a meal at Sum Yi Tai

First impression

Jay Dee: “Fairly impressed! And I liked that he looked like he showered.”

Hidzir: “She arrived half an hour late, so it wasn't great.”

Chemistry

Jay Dee: “We didn’t have any awkward silences and chatted about so many different things!”

Hidzir: “We had many common interests, a shared background in the media industry and tons of mutual friends.”

Awkward Moment

Jay Dee: “I was late, and he didn’t seem too happy about that, so I thought whoops, there goes Date #2.”

Hidzir: “Her story about how her dog may or may not be the long-lost grandson of her previous dog was a little awkward – but in an adorable way.”

Afterwards

Jay Dee: “I persuaded him to take a walk and get bubble tea.”

Hidzir: “We went for a walk and got some bubble tea!”

Verdict

Jay Dee: ♥♥♥♥ “Hidzir was really easy going and nice to talk to, but I can’t say he’s the one.”

Hidzir: ♥♥♥ “It would have been a five if not for the tardiness but Jay Dee’s eloquent, interesting, funny, and super easy to talk to.”
