Apple's new store in Marina Bay Sands is the first Apple store in the world to 'sit' on water. Enter the futuristic dome via the mall from Basement 1, or take the scenic route and enter from the bridge on the MBS deck. As you come up the escalator into the main atrium, look up at the oculus at the top of the dome where sunlight pours in.
The impressive space also offers 360-degree panoramic views of Downtown Singapore – you can see everything from the Merlion to National Gallery Singapore on a good day. The all-glass structure is fully self-supported and comprised of 114 pieces of glass, with only 10 narrow vertical mullions for structural connection.
