With pastel-hued shipping containers prettied up with dreamy fairy lights, Artbox has made a name for itself as one of Singapore's most Instagrammable pop-up markets. Over two consecutive weekends, Bangkok's contemporary market makes its big return on new grounds with an even bigger line-up. Get ready to step into the paradisiacal Garden of Eden (this year's theme) and elevate your retail experience with expressive arts and regional entertainment acts at The Grounds@Kranji from November 15 to 17 and from November 22 to 24.
Expect over 300 food, fashion and lifestyle brands from Singapore and beyond setting up shop in creative retrofitted containers. Several artists and music acts from Malaysia and Thailand are also heading down to flex their music chops at this luxe 'pasar malam'. Enjoy the live performances under a canopy of stars – and fairy lights – on the available hammocks.
Other highlights include activating your senses with a multi-sensory adventure through the Heart of Eden, a floral-scented 40-foot shipping container embellished with flowers, trees and mirrors. Then soak up the novel shopping experience and create your very own Artbox memorabilia at the Garden of Creation. Get an exclusive Artbox jagua tattoo, try 3D-printing accessories, create a perfume and more at the art playground.
With bigger space comes more attention-grabbing containers. Prepare to be greeted by three-level-high containers and Artbox Vines Arch, a centerpiece by the entrance. The event also debuts the lenticular designs flanked by four 12-metre-tall vertical containers, as well as a feature wall with 'Artbox' illuminated on it. Just be sure to have your batteries full – you'd want to capture every nook and cranny of this Instagram paradise.
