Time Out says

Put your dollar to a good cause at Car Boot for Good, a thrift shopping experience organised by Mitsubishi Electric Asia. Take a spin and visit 20 car boots and 20 booths to shop preloved clothing, accessories, homeware, baked goods, and more.

Many of the participating shops are built on good causes. Take Mitsubishi Electric Asia' adopted charity, Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre for Elderly (ADRC). The organisation provides daycare and rehabilitation to old folks to help them stay engaged and integrated in society – visit their booth to pick up pottery and paintings drawn by the elderly.

Otherwise, stock up your pantry with gourmet tea from Tea Ideas, a homegrown company that employs renal patients and the elderly above 60 years old. Also look out for JOJOMAMA, which will be selling resin coasters and other crafted trinkets by special needs artisans. Other highlights include Deaf ArtsCraftsy, which will be displaying artworks created by our local community of deaf artists, and Wunderbake, selling baked goods made with the support of those with special needs.

Entry to Car Boot for Good is free, but arrive early – the first 500 visitors to make a purchase at the event will receive a free Old Chang Kee snack pack. There are also 20 Mitsubishi Electric fans and other prizes to be won, so don't miss out.
