Gant

Swedish-owned apparel retailer Gant has opened a fl agship store in The Paragon. Originally launched in New Haven, Connecticut, by Ukrainian immigrant Bernard Gant in 1941, the collection can best be described as relaxed and countryclub preppy. It made its mark by being the fi rst to sew buttons on shirt collars, hence making ‘button-down casual’ a reality with just a snap of their fi ngers. College students and young, working adults swear by it.
