Time to unleash your inner anime fanboy or girl at the new Hakken! physical store at Plaza Singapura. Opening to the public on January 16, this retail store is the first of its kind in Singapore, thanks to themed features that let you live out your favourite anime fantasies.
Browse over 2,600 official goods, including accessories, collectibles, figurines, plush toys and stationery. We spotted mini Sanrio plushies, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba acrylic figures, Founder of Diabolism automated umbrellas and more merchandise from a total of 21 official titles. That includes popular series like Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World, Sword Art Online and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
This is also currently the only place for you to immerse yourself in your favourite anime and manga titles. A themed feature section in the 2,200 square foot store will showcase a seasonal rotation of popular shows. Currently, a flashy LED screen and life-sized standees highlight scenes from Demon Slayer, which you're free to pose and snap pictures with.
MUSE Communications, the Japanese animation licensor and distributor behind Hakken's launch, has grand plans to nurture the growing anime scene in Southeast Asia. So, look forward to more exciting partnerships with established licensors, partners, cosplayers and creators in the future.
