Time Out says

With artfully arranged shelves and a mellow tracklist playing in the background, new lifestyle store Late Morning in Chinatown makes for a bare-bones set. But you’ll adore it for its clutter-free approach – it holds an equal mix of showpieces and practical items. It’s a perfect haunt for those seeking new knick-knacks or colour-coordinated tableware for their home.

Tables are laid out with fine porcelain plates and French-made cutlery. When was the last time you used matching cutlery sets? This is the stuff of home and decor enthusiasts, a dream home come true. What initially started out as an online store is now a lifestyle haven.

You won’t find many statement pieces here though. Late Morning prefers an understated but varied style: sleek water glasses and pitchers, floral old English teacups, and handmade terrazzo plates. Most of their items hail from far-flung countries, like France, Turkey, and Japan.

They do also have a coffee nook, serving iced lattes and flat whites. It currently operates on a pay-as-you-wish system, but this might change in the future. Feel free to bring your pets (leashed or in a carrier) down too, since it’s a pet-friendly space.
