Playdate's Thrift Market

Refreshing your wardrobe? Digital secondhand thrift store Playdate, a sister project to The Fashion Pulpit, will be holding a massive thrift market on August 6 and 7 at OUE Downtown Gallery. There are 5,000 preloved pieces up for grabs in a large variety of styles and sizes. And the best part? Playdate is selling them at up to 90 percent off. To enter the Playdate Thrift Market, you'll have to buy yourself a ticket, which comes in sets. Set A costs $18 and entitles you to five pieces of clothing, Set B costs $28 for 10 pieces, and Set C costs $48 for 20 pieces. Tickets are shareable so bring a friend to shop together with. 20 percent of proceeds will go towards Mercy Relief, so you'll be supporting the circular economy, helping out a worthy organisation, and getting a fashion refresh all at once.
