Time Out says

You may need a map to navigate your way around VivoCity, but one thing’s for sure: this sprawling mall has everything under one roof. Cool down at the rooftop mini water playground, treat yourself to a blockbuster at Golden Village’s Gold Class, or calm those hunger pangs with its extensive directory of eateries.

Not forgetting its rooftop – perched on the third level of Vivo City, this rooftop garden offers a vantage point overlooking the picturesque island of Sentosa. Little ones can enjoy the interactive water play area, while the expansive deck beckons visitors to gather, spread out picnic blankets, and enjoy the company of loved ones while basking in the open air. It doesn’t hurt that VivoCity is a mere boardwalk away from Sentosa Island and Universal Studios Singapore for some fun in the sun.

Once Upon a Time 2026 with The TENG Ensemble

This year, The TENG Ensemble ushers in the Chinese New Year with its latest musical festive adventure, Once Upon a Time, which reimagines the story of Nian, a legendary mythical monster with sharp teeth and horns that used to wreak havoc on villagers on the night before New Year’s. Follow Ah Gong and his granddaughter Sharon as they face off against the mythical beast with the help of the village’s musicians. Through the performance’s lively storytelling and interactive music-making, learn how loud tunes, bright colours and the community spirit turned the Lunar New Year celebrations into such a vibrant occasion that it is known today. The family-family performance is also in collaboration with youths from TENG’s Mapletree-TENG Scholars, a programme developed for musicians aged 21 and below with a passion for Chinese arts. P.S. Tickets for the performance are eligible for purchase with your SG Culture Pass Credits, so get on it.
