Try the most popular fitness classes in Singapore

According to ClassPass' year in review data, the top five most popular workouts in Singapore are yoga, strength training, Pilates, barre and boxing. These workouts each have their own benefits in helping you improve strength and cardiovascular health, and keep you buzzing with endorphins.

Try them out at local studios such as Freedom Yoga, Yoga+ and Yoga Movement for yoga; Haus Athletics, Core Collective, Barry's Bootcamp, Ritual Gym for strength training; Absolute You for pilates and spin; WeBarre for barre and Ground Zero and boOm for boxing, among many other studios.

Break a sweat on Wednesdays
The trend review also found that Wednesdays are the most popular days to squeeze in a sweat sesh. We can see why, given that most of us need a humpday break to get through the rest of the workweek. Don’t be alarmed if you can’t find an available Wednesday slot. The booking window for most studios open at noon one week before the date of the class – it's fastest fingers first so book early so you don't miss out.

Beat the crowd (or join ‘em)
If you’re more concerned with the time than day, there are plenty of classes to fit your busy schedules. The most popular times to work out are 7.15am for early birds, 12.15pm for lunchtime warriors and 7pm for night owls. There are also classes held in between peak hours if you prefer dodging the sweaty crowd. Fun fact: last year, local ClassPassers spent a total of 41,515,021 minutes working out.

Bring a friend
A workout is an ace way to socialise and bond with friends and colleagues. And if you get anxious exercising next to strangers, drag a familiar face to class with you. Workouts increase productivity, improve culture and build relationships when done in a group. You might even see fitness classes replacing happy hour and team lunches. The most popular class people pair up for? Strength training sessions. Flex your muscles at gyms like Strength Avenue, Fitness Bravo, The Garage and Platinum Fitness
