Hope (Harap)

First produced in 1994, Hope by Haresh Sharma explores how this very human emotion dictates the lives of a father, mother, daughter, and two friends. Adapted into Malay by Zulfadli Rashid and directed by Mohd Fared Jainal, this version remains relevant years later as it explores themes of loneliness and family against the backdrop of a rapidly transforming city.
