Life is short – so Kimberly is living hers at full speed. And this October, you can join her on one of Broadway’s most celebrated musicals at Victoria Theatre. Pangdemonium brings the uplifting, Tony Award-winning Kimberly Akimbo to the stage from October 17 to November 2. With book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, and music by Jeanine Tesori, the show is funny, heartbreaking, and profoundly human – and it’s sure to grab you by the heart and never let go.
Meet Kimberly Levaco: 15 going on… a lot older. A rare ageing condition has her racing against time, navigating high school, a chaotic family, and her secret bucket list. With an overbearing mother whose love sometimes stings, an ex-con artist aunt stirring up trouble, and the quiet, quirky charm of Seth – a tuba-playing love interest who truly sees her – Kimberly’s story is one of courage, laughter, and first love that’s tender, brave, and quietly life-affirming.
Anchoring the stellar cast is Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo – celebrated as the First Lady of Philippine Musical Theatre – bringing decades of stage magic to the title role. Zachary Pang’s earnest Seth, Rebekah Sangeetha Dorai’s intense mother, and Frances Lee’s mischievous aunt complete a lineup that promises humour and heart in equal measure.
