This question is answered through a series of captivating performances at the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival, which returns for its 14th edition between January 17 and 28. In its most introspective showing yet, this year’s programme is a collection of responses to Singaporean artist Amanda Heng’s 1999 street performance Let’s Walk – a contemporary piece reflecting on the local beauty industry and women’s desire to look good.
