There's a ball – a Rice Ball (not the edible sort), in particular – and you're invited. While you can't waltz into a hall, you have local theatre company Wild Rice's word that its Rice Ball will be as fun-filled and wild as it has been for the last 18 years. The virtual fundraising gala features its trademark all-star concert which is live-streamed directly from The Ngee Ann Kongsi Theatre, with some of the best and brightest in the local theatre scene taking the stage. Join Mistress of Ceremonies (aka host) Pam Oei and some of Singapore theatre's biggest names such as Siti Khalijah Zainal, Dwayne Lau and more. There'll also be a special appearance by Glenda and Ivana. 

Complete the experience with a gastronomic feast prepared by the city's finest chefs – from the likes of Michelin Star restaurants Odette and Braci, The Ritz-Carlton, 3 Embers and Opio Modern Kitchen by Blue Lotus – delivered right to your doorstep. And don't forget to stay on for the afterparty, where DJ Keith Colaco will be spinning tunes to help transform your living room into a dance floor. Just remember to keep your webcam on to let everyone see you bust out your best moves! 

Like major theatre companies around the world, Wild Rice was impacted by the pandemic.
