Remember When...

A sea of uprooted trees, an exhumed cemetery, an entire estate (Dakota Crescent, anyone?) to be demolished – little is left untouched in Singapore, and in the NUS Dance Ensemble’s attempt to ignite memories of the unfamiliar and days of yore, Remember When… examines the changes around Singapore and how it affects the psyche of its people over time. When the very space you grew up in ceases to exist, where then does your sense of belonging lie?
