Time Out says

This extended 'circuit breaker' period, Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) is presenting a series of nine new and original monologues created by nine local writers, and performed by nine actors. Themed Silver Linings, the series comes in the form of four to six-minute monologues which look at the optimistic, the bittersweet, and the touching side of life during these turbulent times. In doing so, SRT aims to help us find the silver linings in these unusual and often terrifying times.

The Coronalogues will highlight the lighter side of life during the circuit breaker – whether it's spending more time as a family, helping out a neighbour, building community spirit, getting used to wearing a mask or the pitfalls of starting a new hobby or fitness routine. Each monologue – written by Rishi Budhrani, Jacke Chye, Dick Lee, Ken Kwek, Dora Tan, Jo Tan, Michelle Tan, Tan Suet Lee and Wheelsmith (Access Path Productions) – will focus on a character’s experiences and the way they are dealing with their new daily routine.

Mark your calendars, as The Coronalogues will premiere on Tuesday, May 26 on Facebook Live, performed by nine professional actors – Sharul Channa, Serene Chen, Bridget Fernandez, Sindhura Kalidas, Neo Swee Lin, Rebekah Sangeetha Dorai, Tan Shou Chen, Andy Tear, Wheelsmith. This will be accompanied by a post-show live interaction segment with the director, actors and writers.

To tune in, RSVP for the live stream here. Additionally, do consider donating to support Singapore Repertory Theatre if you can.
