As a dozen men from a book club read the Chinese classic, Dream of the Red Chamber, they soon realise that the turmoil that the 12 female characters experience is similar to theirs. This modern adaptation is created by renowned Hong Kong director Edward Lam, and is the final instalment of his Four Great Classics series.
