Sisterhood can be beautiful, but sometimes it can get complicated – and pretty messy, too. Haresh Sharma’s latest play, 3 Queens, co-directed with Adib Kosnan, digs into the highs and lows of female friendships as it navigates the realities of growing up and growing apart.
The story centres on a trio of women – two sisters, Bedah and Zeina, and their close friend and neighbour, Aida – who have been inseparable since young. However, when life and #adulthood get in the way of their friendship, cracks start to appear in their once-unshakable bond. Long-buried suspicion, betrayal and shame put their sisterhood to the test. Will they be able to put their differences aside and find their way back to each other? Watch to find out.
