Singapore, rev your engines. From October 3 to 5, the Marina Bay Street Circuit transforms once again into the beating heart of Formula 1, as the world’s fastest drivers descend for the iconic Singapore Grand Prix. Expect neon-lit nights, turbo-charged energy, and all the drama of racing under the stars. But this year brings an extra thrill: for the very first time in Singapore, we’ll see Lewis Hamilton racing in Ferrari red, alongside teammate Charles Leclerc.

Still, even legends can’t do it alone. Every blistering lap and podium finish is powered by the Scuderia Ferrari HP pit crew, the unsung heroes whose split-second precision makes or breaks a race. And now, luxury Scotch whisky brand Chivas Regal is putting them firmly in the spotlight with a stirring short film, A Tribute to the Scuderia Ferrari HP Pit Crew.

Narrated by Hamilton and Leclerc, and written by acclaimed spoken-word artist George the Poet, the film is more than a behind-the-scenes look. Premiered at Monza during the Italian Grand Prix, it’s a celebration of teamwork, ambition and the relentless pursuit of excellence. It’s also the perfect expression of Chivas Regal’s “I Rise, We Rise” ethos: the belief that true greatness isn’t about going it alone, but about lifting together.

And for you, it’s a chance to be inspired by the lessons that keep champions racing towards the finish line. Here are five takeaways from the film that go far beyond the racetrack.

1. Everyone has a role to play

“We can’t afford to lose our pace, that’s why no one is out of place.”

Podium finishes don’t belong to one name on the car – they’re earned by dozens of hands working in sync. It’s the same in life: whether you’re the star striker or the behind-the-scenes planner, success is built on collective effort.

2. Give it your all, always

“Less than a hundred percent is not an option.”

The Scuderia Ferrari HP pit crew can’t afford an off day, and neither can you when the stakes matter. Whether you’re chasing a promotion, prepping for finals, or chasing that personal best, anything less than full commitment simply won’t cut it.

3. Strive for precision

“You make it look natural, but with an unnatural level of precision.”

Watching the pit crew in slow motion feels less mechanical and more like choreography – a symphony of torque, twist and tap where milliseconds decide everything. It’s proof that greatness comes from perfecting the details until they look effortless. The lesson? Sweat the small stuff, because that’s where excellence lives.

4. Adapt and move in harmony

“Find harmony in this regal symphony.”

Twenty pairs of hands move as one, each instinctively knowing their part, turning pressure into precision. It shows that success isn’t always about control – it’s about adapting to what you’re dealt and finding rhythm with the people around you. Whether in a boardroom or a band, true progress happens when everyone works in harmony.

5. Keep your eyes on the prize

“Our driven mind racing to the finish line.”

That tunnel vision and relentless ambition are the fuel that powers champions. For the pit crew, it’s about nailing every stop. For you, it might be about growing your passion project or ticking off that bucket-list goal.
