If you’ve been sitting on the idea of jumping on the Hyrox bandwagon, then maybe this time’s your chance to finally get on it. The global sports spectacle returns to Singapore for another round of adrenaline-pumping challenges and high-energy obstacles at the National Stadium. For the first time, the event is spread across three days instead of two, bringing you additional races. But other than that, the format stays relatively the same.
There are five racing categories to participate in: singles, doubles, relay, and adaptive. Each race starts with a 1km run before moving on to one of the functional workout stations. This includes a SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, sandbag lunges and more. The set is repeated eight times to complete it.
Similar to past Hyrox events, this one will probably be just as star-studded. You can expect a couple of famous faces taking part in the event, so keep your eyes peeled as you make your way down the finishing line. The previous edition saw celebrities such as Physical:100 star Hong Beom Seok and K-pop’s Choi Minho from SHINee.
