Time Out says

You can stop crying lightning now – Arctic Monkeys are finally bringing their slicked back swagger to Singapore. Almost 20 years on and seven studio albums later, Alex Turner and co have understandably now sound very different from when they first stepped into the limelight with I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor in 2006. Gone are the days of shaggy, indie upstarts, and hello to the greaser slickness of AM. The new album The Car refines the template set by its predecessor Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino and confirms the fact that the band's transformation is here to stay. Who’s complaining, anyway? The Sheffield rockers are set to perform new songs including Grammy-nominated single There's better Be A Mirrorball, as well as fan favourites such as 505, Brianstorm and R U Mine? snuck in for old times' sake. Snap out of it – this is one major music event you won’t want to miss.
