Artwalk 2023

There's reason to rejoice, as the Artwalk Festival 2023 returns in physical form after two years being held in online and hybrid format. The 9th edition of the festival takes place in Little India and Katong-Joo Chiat. Highlights include live performances, experiential activities and workshops. among others. Witness a performance led by Mark Nicodemus Tan, Origin, which involves music, dance, poetry and theatre at the Little India district, where mythical characters are brought to life. Join an immersive cultural tour led by Kamini Ramachandran, who will share stories related to Pongal – a harvest festival celebrated by the Tamil community. During the tour, visitors will get to savour different Pongal rice dishes and learn about the spices and details that go into making each dish. Take part in a Rangoli Workshop hosted by Vijaya Mihan, where you can learn the history and significance of the origins of this art form.
