Over 400 makers. Two days. And one big art and craft fair. The Asia Art & Craft Fair is back, and it’s a celebration of the region’s rich and ever-evolving creative scene. But more than just a marketplace, it’s also an exhibition that gathers local artists and talents from neighbouring countries to showcase a treasure trove of original creations. Expect artisans working across ceramics, crochet, painting, digital illustration, fine jewellery, 3D printing and beyond (you can see the full list of artists here). If you see what you like, don’t forget to take them home to support the independent creatives.
On top of browsing the booths and meeting with the makers, you can also join in on a series of craft workshops. Pick up basic decoupage techniques, create your own kokedama, or build a mug from traditional Zisha clay. There’s also a masterclass on kintsugi, where you’ll learn the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics. All workshops require advance registration, and the necessary materials will be provided for each participant.
