It’s the world’s highest-grossing movie of all time, standing at a staggering $2.84 billion – and that’s in US dollars. For all fans out there, good news: Gardens by the Bay has just announced that there will be an Avatar-themed event at the Cloud Forest as part of their 10-year anniversary celebrations.
Already, the Cloud Forest bears a certain resemblance to fictional world Pandora, a landscape that’s forever filled with lush greenery and majestic waterfalls. When the transformation is completed, there’ll be five different zones, featuring bioluminescent backdrops, ethereal creatures, and plenty of flora and plantlife. No Na’vi’s in sight – but you’d half expect one to leap out of the bushes.
Here, it’s a walkthrough event, so it’ll practically feel like you’re strolling through the grounds of Pandora. When you can fly your own mountain banshee through the Hallelujah Mountains or be among the first to meet a new marine creature Ilu that will debut in the Avatar sequel The Way of Water, this is one event that you want to make your way down for.
