Time Out says

To commemorate the anniversary of the Fall of Singapore, National Museum of Singapore is hosting a series of engaging programmes. Rope in the kids for a storytelling session based on the popular children's book Timmy & Tammy Talking to Grandpa About the War where they can learn more about the Japanese Occupation in Singapore and raise some burning questions with a great-grandma who lived through it. If you enjoy collecting military memorabilia as much as Alvin Lee (Alvin's Bunker), check out his sharing session where he talks about his experiences as a collector, his passion for doing so, as well as the challenges and opportunities he has encountered over the years.

Once you're done navigating through the National Museum, hop on the shuttle bus for a free ride to either Changi Chapel & Museum or Reflections of Bukit Chandu to continue unearthing more World War II stories. The free shuttle service is only available every Saturday and Sunday this month.
