Baker and Cook's Dean Brettschneider transfers his knowledge of taming gluten and yeast with a line-up of baking classes at his own cooking school. The Watten Estate space – just behind his first café's breezy digs – offers classes that range from bread-baking for beginners ($245) to two-day master classes ($495) for pros and kitchen geeks. He's also enlisted the smarts of chefs and cooking instructors like Eric Neo and Derek Ang, executive chefs of InterContinental Hotel Singapore and The Privé Group respectively, to lead classes on how to cook up Singapore’s best dishes ($185) and healthy barramundi recipes ($185). If you're still thirsty for more, the school also offers coffee classes ($50) led by Baker and Cook baristas so you can try your hand at some fancy latte art, too.
