The summer heat is upon us and there’s no better excuse than to quaff down refreshing craft beers to beat the heat. From August 3 to 6, Brewnanza Fest by Brewlander is taking over the Bayfront Event Space with a craft beer festival that features over 100 exhilarating craft beers from more than 20 acclaimed breweries worldwide.
Craft beer enthusiasts can look forward to a never-before-seen range of brewskis from fan favourites such as Hong Kong’s Young Master Brewery and Vietnam’s Heart of Darkness Brewery to even Lervig from Scandinavia. And also joining the festival for the first time ever are popular UK brewery Cloudwater, US-based Trillium Brewing, and Japan’s DD4D Brewing.
The festival will also highlight collaborative brews between local brewers and international friends. Think hopbombed West Coast IPA by Brewlander and Aussie-based Rocky Ridge Brewing, mango pomelo smoothie sour by Brewlander and Scotland-based Vault City Brewing, decadent buah keluak imperial stout by Alive Brewing and Estonian-based Pühaste, and the list goes on.
Local brewers are also celebrated with the appearance of Alive Brewing, Brewerkz, Off Day Beer Company and That Singapore Beer Project. And of course, Brewlander too with two limited edition brews to beef up the festive range. Expect to sip on an extremely juicy New England IPA and a patriotic Red IPA that pays homage to Singapore’s 58th birthday.
For entertainment, homegrown party collective Ice Cream Sundays will headline with curated sets of slick tunes. There will also be live bands that belt out everything from punk rock and R&B to indie-folk. And if you’re hungry, sink your teeth into world-famous Shake Shack burgers, modern Asian nosh from The Kongsee, Mexican-inspired comfort food by Jaguarita’s and more. Tickets start from just $30.
