What happens when you fill a former Second World War bunker with movement, sound and experimental music? You get Bunker by Night. Once built for the war, the Battlebox at Fort Canning transforms into a space for immersive performances, live music and electronic experimentation for two nights only, with artists from across the region responding to the site’s history and surroundings.
The lineup for night one features Dirk Stromberg, Lattice, MASMA DREAM WORLD, and VYLT & FALLING ISLANDS, with performances that move between free improvisation, cathartic ceremonies and immersive electronic soundscapes. Meanwhile, the second night sees Gelap, Marla & Natalie, SGStingray, and Zihao & Ng Zuyou take over the underground space for an evening of genre-blending sets, sonic experiments and fresh reinterpretations of beloved oldies and ballads.
