This year's Deepavali celebration in Little India is going to sound a little different. On top of the usual hustle and bustle – a huge part of what makes Little India so great – prepare to have buskers line the streets to dish out Indian contemporary music. This first-of-its-kind event winds its way through the narrow streets of the precinct, bringing life and magic to the celebrations. And even if you don’t know the lyrics, that's fine – just dance along with the revelers.
