Looking to stock up your pantry with fresh local produce? Or just finding greener swaps? Either way, mark your calendars for Central Singapore Market. The roving market organised by the Central Singapore Community Development Council (CDC) is hitting up the heartlands so you can discover local farmers and entrepreneurs, shop for organic vegetables and fruits, and explore other eco-friendly products right at your doorstep. From now until December 2026, it’ll be popping up at different corners of the city, including the Banyan Tree Playground, Bishan Active Park, and Zhongshan Park, plus community centres in Upper Thomson and Yio Chu Kang.
Each stop brings a fresh mix of eco-conscious brands and food vendors. Expect everything from gluten-free granola, homemade chilli sauces, plant-based deodorant and even edible insects, if you’re feeling adventurous. The July 26 edition also offers sustainable plant fertilisers and Croatian truffle oil, while August 2’s market adds a live performance and a dried herb and flower arrangement workshop to the programme.
Stay updated on the list of upcoming neighbourhood stops for the rest of the year here, and check out its official Instagram page for vendor highlights.
