Time Out says

Whether you’re already part of the arts community or just curious to know what goes down behind the scenes in that part of the world, CITRUS fest 2026 invites everyone to pull up a seat. Back for its second edition in conjunction with Singapore Night Festival, the biennial event organised by the ground-up collective CITRUS takes over 42 Waterloo Street for 10 days to tackle burnout culture in the arts. Themed Kacang Puteh, Care‑Oke?, the fest opens up the conversation on care and explores how we can treat it as a collective responsibility rather than an individual one.

Expect a series of informal gatherings, workshops, conversations and experimental sharings, where you can join in to help build a healthier, more sustainable community together. There’s a town hall-style session where local theatre practitioners lead a debate on what makes for a fulfilling artist life, plus a participatory installation that reimagines the S‑11 coffee shop, an old haunt for art workers. The fest rounds out with Stone Soup Party, which gathers everyone for a communal meal made with rescued ingredients and a round of classic karaoke.

All programmes are free, though some events require pre-registration here. For a list of the festival’s full lineup, check its website.
