Time Out says

MINDS, also known as the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore, is hosting its signature awareness and fundraising campaign at Singapore Sports Hub. The Colour Socks Parade invites everyone to celebrate inclusivity through sports, featuring different types of activities for everyone to enjoy, from badminton and basketball to handcycling, rugby and rock climbing. Complete the obstacles and workouts at all the stations and you can take home a customised “Inclusive Champion” badge that you can wear proudly.

As a nod to the upcoming FIFA World Cup, take part in the Paint-a-Ball Community Fundraiser. For $60, you’ll get a white football, which you can paint and personalise to your own taste. Each contribution helps to support MINDS to empower persons with intellectual disability (ID) and their caregivers. Then, rally your family and friends to catch an inclusive football match on the field, which features appearances from former national footballers Faritz Hameed and Gabriel Quak.

The fun-filled day continues over at the marketplace. Browse for handicrafts, bakes and treats produced by the MINDS community, with each purchase benefiting inclusive employment in Singapore. There are also awareness booths where you can learn more about how you can support this meaningful cause and champion inclusion.
