Time Out says

We all love a multiverse adventure, from The Avengers to Everything Everywhere All at Once. But what about a love story with infinite beginnings and endings? That’s what Constellations tries to uncover as it narrates the whirlwind romance between a theoretical physicist, Marianne, and a beekeeper, Ronald, whose relationship unfolds in different ways with every decision they make, creating multiple universes in which they fall in and out of love.

Presented by The Winter Players, the two-hander performance stars Julianna Kassim Chan and Marwyn Ho as the pair of star-crossed lovers, with Ho also co-directing with Michaela Leong. The story is an adaptation of British playwright Nick Payne’s award-winning play of the same name, featuring an original score and multimedia stage design that brings the sonic vision and the tale’s mindbending universe to life.

Payne’s Constellations made its debut at London’s Royal Court Theatre in 2012 and has since appeared across the West End and Broadway. Meanwhile, TWP’s rendition kicks off the Singaporean theatre collective’s 2026 season.
