Time Out says

Where theatrical plays meet escape room experiences, you get Crack the Case: Mind Hunter, a unique and immersive live mystery experience presented by Sight Lines Entertainment.

Unlike usual theatre shows, this experience will have you out of your seat and actively taking part in the narrative. For Crack the Case: Mind Hunter, the heritage house on 42 Waterloo Street has been transformed into an immersive walk-through with five multi-sensory rooms. You form part of a team exploring the Mind Hunter, a device created to study the minds of criminals.

For your adventure, the criminal in question is David Menon, a psychopath being investigated for the alleged kidnapping of three women. Throughout the 90-minute show, you have to explore the rooms, interact with actors, pick up clues, and solve puzzles to unravel the mystery – and save lives. According to writer and director Krish Natarajan, "The experience isn't just a performance; it's a dark journey into the depths of human nature which beckons the important question: is evil an inherent trait, ingrained at birth, or a byproduct of our environment and upbringing?”

You can attend the show alone or with a group, just take note that it's only suitable for those aged 16 years old and above. If you're squeamish, don't worry – there is no horror, blood, or gore involved.

VIP tickets start at $98 and include a secret pre-show prelude, a meet-the-characters session, access to the VIP area and a seat during special scenes and an exclusive take-home prop. Standard tickets start at $68 – purchase them at sightlines.com.sg
