The mall-wide activation at Funan will transform the mall into an art destination with installations, performances and interactive workshops celebrating the year of the dragon. These activities will align with Funan’s six themes: Craft, Chic, Fit, Play, Taste and Tech.
Check out works by 16 artists in collaboration with brands like Barehands, Chokmah, Lemonaide, Liho Tea, The Green Capsule, Ray-Ban, PPP Coffee, and Wild Rice.
Shoppers can find different artworks scattered throughout the mall that were created in response to Singaporean writer Yeow Kai Chai’s prose poem On the Trail of the Dragon. Artist Jeremy Hiah responds with an installation featuring insect sculptures in collaboration with The Green Capsule alongside terrarium workshops. Former President Young Talent of 2016, Ezzam Rahman, presents a black-and-white performance video at Wild Rice's foyer on Level 4 by, in collaboration with Wild Rice. The video is inspired by 2963 Cathay Keris film titled Naga Tasek Chini.
On top of these, don’t miss the chance to design your own eyewear cases with Ray-Ban and take part in a dragon-inspired origami workshop with PPP coffee.
