It's everyone's favourite renounced supervillain and excitable yellow Minions come to life at the Anti-Villain League (AVL) Academy event at Suntec City. Here, you get to covertly slip into the role of a secret agent of the Anti-Villain League – all while cracking secret codes, tackling an obstacle course and exploring plenty of other fun challenges.
From now to July 14, head down to Tower 1 and 2 for some family-friendly fun. With three action-packed zones, meet-and-greets with AVL secret agents Kevin and Stuart, and exclusive Despicable Me merchandise, it makes for a memorable day out for kids and adults alike. Make sure you're camera-ready too, since there are plenty of photo spots and props.
It's a special treat for Suntec+ App members, where kids aged three to 12 years can set off on a movie-themed adventure. Once they step into the Security Room, they’ll be handed the AVL Recruitment Card to start their first mission – this involves finding the hidden code with a spyglass, and correctly counting the number of bananas on display.
They'll then make their way to the Agility Room where their physical dexterity comes into play. Your little one will have a ball in completing this timed obstacle course, all while navigating inflatables and colourful pool noodles, before wading through every kids’ favourite: the ball pit zone.
Inside the Vault Chamber, children will put their sense of smell to test to sniff unique scents from the ‘infamous’ Fart Blaster gun to crack the final secret code. Expect a whole lot of giggling and cheeky grins once they complete all missions to receive the AVL badge, along with a Despicable Me 4 pin badge and sticker sheet.
Find these activity zones at Suntec City Atrium, Tower 1 and 2, from now to June 23 (11am to 9.30pm daily). The activation continues from June 24 to July 14 at Temasek Boulevard, near Shake Shack (11am to 9.30pm daily).
You'll also want to pop by on a weekend for a chance to meet well-loved Minions Kevin and Stuart. Now, rather than their usual denim overalls, the two will be making an appearance in Anti-Villain League gear. Snap a photo with them on weekends (1pm*, 4pm, and 7pm), as they get suited up – they've never been seen in such outfits, making this an exciting sneak peek into the fourth movie that'll be released on July 4.
*Only 4pm and 7pm shows on June 22.
Remember to bring home a special keepsake too, especially since you'll find exclusive Minions-themed merchandise at the Despicable Me 4 retail pop-up. Kids will certainly go gaga over the wide range of back-to-school items and plushies. Whether it's a snazzy lunch box for your kid's favourite snacks or a practical water bottle, it's perfect for all little Minions fans. You can also pick up a cutlery set with daisy-costumed Minions and an imprint of their signature “Bello” greeting.
