Sometimes, there’s nothing scarier than real life. This Halloween, the folks at The Market Society hope to inspire youths to face and conquer fears through Fearville, a two-day event featuring live music performances, craft zones, and interactive installations. The highlight is Gleaming Realm, a special art installation where you can draw your fears – which will be projected on the wall in a symbolic release. Over at Corner of Closure, pen down your thoughts and stick them up at the Wall of Fears and contribute to a growing collage.
Elsewhere, attendees can shop for Fearville-themed art and merchandise by creators like jacko and Soop, or even sit down for tarot card readings, tattoos, and express manicures. Nine talented homegrown artists will play the soundtrack for the fest, with names like Akeen Jahat, shazza, Shelby Wang, and Dominic Chin among them.
