Five-footway Festival

Celebrate the rich heritage of the Chinatown Street Market at the inaugural Five-footway Festival on March 23 and 24. The festival, which recreates the hawking scenes of the precinct’s beginnings, marks the official launch of the refurbished Chinatown Street Market and takes visitors on a walk down memory lane. Visitors are invited to participate in traditional games and cultural activities, sample street food such as satay, ice-cold chendol and roasted chestnuts, and browse an assortment of old-school merch. Foodie trails and guided tours are also available to explore the Chinatown streets of Pagoda, Sago, Smith and Trengganu.
