Nothing brings family together like sports and a bit of friendly competition. The FunFam SportFest returns this school holiday season with a lineup of fitness activities that’ll get both the parents and children moving together. Look forward to bonding over sports try-outs, obstacle courses, interactive challenges and team-based missions that turn play into fitness.
To match this year’s theme, Heroes of Active City, the two-day festival transforms Singapore Expo into a giant active playground that’s split into four zones. At Hero Hub, games turn movement into “active energy”, while Energy Lab centres on challenges that increase agility, balance and strength. Over at Power Area, families can discover and participate in different types of sports. Learn how to dribble, shoot hoops, and score the perfect goal.
Want something a bit more action-packed? Put your family’s teamwork to the test and tackle Squad Mission, where you’ll have to complete a series of “training zones” to restore power to the city and earn the title of Active Heroes.
There are also scheduled coach-led 30-minute workout sessions throughout the weekend, featuring beginner-friendly exercises, such as basic stretches and mobility drills. Plus, we hear national footballer Hassan Sunny will make a special appearance. So keep an eye out for a chance to get a selfie with the super goalie.
