Awe is the antidote to the stresses of modern life, and there's plenty to go around at ArtScience Museum's permanent exhibition, teamLab Future World. Created in collaboration with teamLab, this is Singapore's largest collection of the international art collective's work to date.
First opened in 2016, teamLab Future World features large-scale digital installations across two main sections that merge art, science, and nature: City in Nature and Exploring New Frontiers. And like the complex, ever-changing nature of our universe, its first gallery reopened in 2026 with brand-new artworks and refreshed interactive experiences.
Find the newest installations at City in Nature. This section features 11 artworks inspired by Singapore's urban biodiversity. Watch water particles flow across the space at Universe of Water Particles, stand at the base of a giant cascading waterfall in I Know Myself Through the Flow, and see flowers emerge and respond to changing conditions in The Ethereal Body of Flowers. Interactive artworks highlight our interconnectedness with the world: take the slide and see flowers bloom and grow at Sliding Through the Fruit Field or create new worlds with a light pen at A Window to the Universe where Little People Live.
Exploring New Frontiers is as close to an out-of-body experience as you can get, featuring four artworks designed to shift your perspective or even transport you to entirely new planes of existence. The beloved Crystal World installation remains – inspired by Pointillism, it uses thousands of points of light to create images of planets, stars, and galaxies far, far away. Ever wanted to be a butterfly, bird, or plane? Sketch your own and experience the world from their unique perspectives via tablet devices at Sketch Umwelt World. Elsewhere, join an aerial dance or contribute to a light sculpture with a paper airplane.
