Far from the city centre, Green Circle Eco-Farm is one of the farms in the Kranji precinct that you can visit. Founded by Evelyn Eng and Lim Tian Soo, Green Circle started as an organic farm but these days, it is so much more. At the core of it all is the organic farming of vegetables and fruits grown without the use of any chemicals. Instead, the farm adopts strict ecological practices to ensure the living environment is not polluted by harmful chemicals.
Besides farming, Green Circle is also a strong advocate for conservation, and environmental education and awareness. It holds guided tours for schools and people who are curious to know about how food is grown and produced in Singapore. Green Circle is also an animal-friendly place.
