If your plans this August include staying out late, then good news: the Green-House Festival at Temasek Shophouse is doing the same. To coincide with the 2026 Singapore Night Festival programme, the annual eco-conscious event returns for its fifth edition with a new day-to-night festival lineup.
The theme for this year? Don’t Waste A Good Time – and that includes good food. Look forward to a six-course dinner co-curated with Nottofu made from discarded ingredients. Think prawn shells crushed into XO sauce, stale bread transformed into caramelised desserts, and used coffee grounds recycled into your dishes. The best part? You get to take the recipes home after so you can turn your leftovers into something delicious.
The festival also brings back its signature marketplace, this time boasting more than 70 sustainable local brands spanning fashion, beauty, homeware, food and lifestyle. Whether it’s eco-friendly tableware you’re looking for, or if you’re curious to know more about plant-forward sauces and vegan skincare, there’s surely something for everyone to discover. Elsewhere, there are workshops where you can learn to craft a herbal dehumidifier or make a chendol that’s totally dog-safe.
