Japanese singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ichiko Aoba returns to Singapore as part of her 2026 Across The Oceans Tour. The performance marks the folk musician’s second staging at Esplanade Theatres, following her sold-out concert in 2024. She will be joined alongside a 12-member ensemble, led by composer Taro Umebayashi.
Aoba has eight studio albums under her belt, with her most recent being 2025’s Luminescent Creatures. However, it was her 2020 LP, Windswept Adan, that put her on the map. The 14-track project, which was created as a soundtrack to an imaginary film, introduced the world to the singer’s brand of ethereal, softly spun folk music.
Across The Oceans is Aoba’s world tour in support of her latest album. The singer is set to hit up Europe and the USA following her stops in Asia.
