Months of parties and planning have finally led to this moment. Ice Cream Sundays is marking its 10th anniversary celebrations with its biggest bash yet. To close out on the festivities, the collective is turning its signature outdoor parties into a sprawling birthday picnic on the field at Science Park Road, across from Teletech Park (Google Maps is your friend).
Headlining the celebrations are Melbourne-based DJ duo Wax’o Paradiso, whose own party series helped birth the idea of ICS. The pair are joined by resident selectors Bongomann, Muto and Toppings, alongside Halia of the Revision Music Collective, who will make her debut behind the ICS decks.
While music remains the main event, the programme also includes activities for families and pets to enjoy. Look forward to drop-in creative stations, from portrait sketching and botanical headpiece-making to silk-screen printing, as well as guided meditation sessions and plenty of games. We hear there’s also loads of food and a pop-up bar on site, so come with an empty stomach.
