Time Out says

The works of 10 Singaporean women artists come together in this reflective exhibition that honours their respective roles in shaping the country’s art history. Set within a Tiong Bahru walk-up apartment, Inhabitant unfolds as an intimate exploration of artistic expression. The showcase presents an eclectic mix of sculptures, paintings and mixed-media works from artists across different eras, which includes pieces from private collections that date back to the 1940s. But what ultimately ties the entire exhibition together is the women’s shared spirit of persistence, as each artist forged their own path to carve a space for themselves in the art world throughout the years.

Each room in the exhibition space is dedicated to a single artist, allowing visitors to explore and interact with the artworks more intentionally. Some of the artists showcased include pioneering sculptor Han Sai Por, anthropologist Chen Cheng Mei and traditional Chinese ink expert, Hong Sek Chern.
