Time Out says

Japan is slated to fully reopen on October 11, but if you wish to have a taste of the land of the rising sun right in our little red dot, Jurong Point is holding its first ever Matsuri, or Japanese, cultural festival. Located at JP1 Centre Stage on Level 1, Japan Matsuri Fair is running now till October 23, from 11am to 9.30pm.

Expect food explorations, matsuri games, traditional performances and even a Japanese-themed photo booth. Those who are into cosplay, famous cosplayers Mariko and Mahio from Japan will be making an appearance at the event on October 8. Decked in their beautiful costumes, the duo will be holding a cosplay workshop and sharing their expertise on costume designing and the different usage of props.

The Matsuri Fair will also host yatai, small food stalls selling traditional Japanese street food. Tuck into the takoyaki, okonomiyaki, sushi and mochi ice cream or try your hand at three matsuri games like Goldfish Scooping, Senbonbiki and Water Balloon Yoyo. Performances such as taiko drum and workshop, yosakoi dance and a cosplay sakura concert will be held at the fair. More deals and promotions will be held at Japan Matsuri Fair so head down to find out more.
